Barbara Eden's Endless Passion for Work and Life

If Barbara Eden had one wish, it would be this: to never stop working. "I will keep going until they carry me out," the forever-young 87-year-old star of I Dream of Jeannie exclusively tells Closer Weekly in their latest issue, now available on newsstands. "That's what fuels my energy. I absolutely love working. If I don't, I start feeling lazy." It's hard to imagine Barbara ever slowing down, given her boundless enthusiasm and zest for life.

Barbara isn't just talking the talk; she's living proof of her dedication. She recently wrapped up a cross-country tour of the play Love Letters, sharing the stage with the legendary Hal Linden, best known for his role in Barney Miller. Hal, who is also 88, is someone Barbara admires greatly. "He's such a delightful man," she gushes. Fans may recall their previous collaboration in the 1976 TV movie How to Break Up a Happy Divorce, where they first worked together.
