An Unusual Friendship Between Bruce Willis and Demi Moore
When it comes to exes staying friends, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are setting the bar incredibly high. Just take a look at Bruce's recent vow renewal with Emma Heming, celebrating their 10th anniversary last month. Who do you think was there, smiling and shining in family photos? None other than Demi Moore herself!
Emma Heming opened up to Closer Weekly about the unique bond they share. At the Room to Grow Spring Benefit for low-income families raising young children in New York City and Boston, she shared, "Demi welcomed me into her family, just like I welcomed her into ours. Her presence at our vow renewal was incredibly important. She was there at our first wedding, and it felt right to have her there again. I wouldn’t do it without her."
A Legacy of Parenthood
Bruce, now 64, and Demi, 56, were married from 1987 to 2000. Together, they raised three daughters: Rumer Willis, 30, Scout Willis, 27, and Tallulah Willis, 25. For this couple, parenthood has always been the priority. Bruce once said, "I’m much prouder of being a father than being an actor. What people find most remarkable about my life now is how close I am to Demi." That’s some serious admiration right there!

Healing Through Time
Even as Demi went on to marry Ashton Kutcher from 2005 to 2011, and Bruce found love again with Emma, welcoming daughters Mabel Willis, 7, and Evelyn Willis, 4, they've managed to put their differences aside. Demi put it best when she said, "Time is an amazing equalizer. If you stay true to yourself and keep moving forward, things come around." And it seems they’ve done just that.
Coming Together for the Family
Despite their past, Bruce and Demi continue to unite for their children's birthday parties, Broadway openings (Rumer joined the cast of Chicago in 2015), and even Bruce and Emma’s vow renewal ceremony. Emma, 42, told Closer, "I have so much respect for Demi. I admire how Bruce and Demi worked through their divorce to prioritize their children. I’ve learned a lot from them and grown so much from watching their journey."
