As her kids grow older, Denise, who's also a star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, admits that her daughters’ friends are starting to stumble upon some of the more scandalous moments from the film. Yep, those scenes that made Wild Things a cult classic, including the famous love scene with co-star Neve Campbell, are now on the radar of her kids’ peer group.

“A couple of friends had mentioned it to her, and I just said, ‘I would really appreciate it if you didn’t watch it,’” Denise shared. “It’s just not age-appropriate, you know? I’m not trying to hide it, but they’re still so young.”

Denise shares her daughters Sami, 15, and Lola, 13, with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. She’s also a proud mom to 7-year-old Eloise, whom she adopted as a single mom back in 2011. Denise's Perspective on Her Career Choices

While Denise is firm about keeping Wild Things off her daughters’ watchlist for now, she’s completely at peace with her decision to take on the role back in the day. “It was a movie I did, a script I loved, and it was all about me being creative,” Denise explained to her daughters during a recent conversation. “I worked with some truly incredible actors, and one day, if you do end up seeing it, you might not agree with my decision, but that’s what mum decided to do.”

She understands that her kids might feel a little weird about seeing their mom in such a different light. “It’s definitely strange for them, seeing their mom in something that’s sexy or just different,” she admitted. “I mean, if it were my parents, I’d probably feel the same way. It’s just one of those things.”

Denise isn’t just worried about the movies her kids watch. She’s also a firm believer in using modern technology to keep her kids safe. Remember when she admitted to installing surveillance cameras to keep her eldest daughter from sneaking out? That’s some next-level parenting right there.

“Sami’s getting into high school now, and that means new friends, new boys, and new adventures,” Denise explained on an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “That’s when kids usually start sneaking out. I started sneaking out when I was 15, so I know my kid will probably do the same. So, I’m putting cameras up so I can catch her if she tries anything.”

She added with a laugh, “We’ll be able to see if anyone sneaks out—or sneaks in. Hey, a parent’s gotta do what a parent’s gotta do, right?”
