Hilaria Baldwin Shares Her Journey
It’s been two weeks since Hilaria Baldwin underwent a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure, and she’s slowly but surely finding her way back to feeling like herself again. In an emotional yet empowering Instagram post, the 35-year-old mother shared a glimpse into her recovery process, reminding everyone that healing isn’t just physical—it’s emotional too.
“Since so many of you have been asking, I want to tell you that I am doing well,” Hilaria wrote in her caption. She went on to explain that it’s been two weeks since the procedure, and physically, she’s starting to feel more like her old self. Emotionally, though, she acknowledges the complexity of what she’s going through. “When we choose to become parents, we take a big risk with our hearts,” she said. “Never do we love so intensely—and this is scary, but so worth it.”

Opening Her Heart, Even When It Hurts
Hilaria, a yoga instructor known for her calm and centered approach to life, opened up about the loss of her unborn child. “This time, when I opened my heart up to another baby, he or she didn’t stay very long,” she shared. But despite the pain, she found a way to express her love for the little soul that touched her life, even if only briefly. “I love this little soul deeply and wholly,” she wrote. “We all have a purpose in life, and I believe my little one left positivity in [its] short life.”
Breaking the Silence Around Loss
Hilaria also talked about why she felt compelled to share her story. “I felt a deep provocation to share what was going on,” she explained. By being open and honest, she hoped to spark important conversations. “Creating a positive from a negative, this little flicker of life left [its] mark,” she wrote. She pointed out that miscarriage is something many people suffer through silently because of societal norms. “As I have said to so many: this experience wasn’t just about me and my journey, it is about anyone, perhaps you, or someone you know, who has suffered from a loss.”
