There’s no stopping Jennifer Garner from radiating positivity. On Friday, April 12, the actress, who just turned 46, walked into the Good Morning America studio with a smile that lit up the entire block. As she stepped out of her car, paparazzi eagerly awaited her arrival, and Jennifer was more than happy to stop and pose for some photos. That’s just the kind of warm, down-to-earth person she is.
Interestingly, Jennifer didn’t bring her kids or ex-husband Ben Affleck along for this particular visit. Typically, the couple, both 46, enjoy grabbing coffee together whenever their schedules allow, but Ben had other plans. He was back in Los Angeles dealing with his own set of challenges, including his recent split from girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. It seems their relationship hit a roadblock neither of them could navigate.

What Went Wrong in Ben and Lindsay's Relationship?
Insiders are shedding light on the reasons behind Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus' breakup. Apparently, after a long and intense conversation about the future of their relationship, they both realized they were facing insurmountable challenges. “Their family commitments and living arrangements were just too complicated to move forward,” said a source close to the situation to Closer Weekly.

Ben, who co-parents three children—Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7—with Jennifer, found it particularly difficult to continue seeing Lindsay. The logistics simply didn’t align. “Lindsay didn’t want to uproot her daughter Madeline’s life by moving her from New York to Los Angeles, and Ben couldn’t relocate his kids to New York. It was a heartbreaking decision, but they knew it was for the best,” the source revealed.

Jennifer: A Steady Rock for Ben
Despite the challenges, Ben has always had one constant in his life: Jennifer Garner. She was there for him during his most trying times, including when he entered rehab on August 22. And it’s clear that her unwavering support continues to be a source of strength for him. “The support I have received from my family, colleagues, and fans means more to me than I can express,” Ben shared in a heartfelt statement. “It’s given me the courage to speak openly about my struggles with addiction. Battling addiction is a lifelong battle, and because of that, one is never truly in or out of treatment. It’s a full-time commitment, and I’m fighting for myself and my family.”
Perhaps the next time Jennifer visits GMA, she’ll bring Ben and the kids along for the ride. After all, the bond they share is a testament to the strength of their co-parenting relationship and the love they have for their children.
