Let’s talk about Easter, family, and a whole lot of cuteness. Joanna Gaines, the queen of all things cozy and charming, took to Instagram to share some heartwarming pictures of her youngest son, Crew Gaines, celebrating his very first Easter. In a playful post, Joanna revealed her plan to photograph the 10-month-old either in a patch of bluebonnets or surrounded by carrots. “I was either going to stick him in a patch of bluebonnets or carrots,” the Fixer Upper star wrote, capturing the fun and whimsical spirit of the holiday.
From Confusion to Joy: Baby Crew’s Easter Adventure
When you think about Easter, you probably picture eggs, bunnies, and maybe even a little basket of treats. But Joanna decided to mix things up with something a little more... root vegetable-oriented. At first, little Crew looked totally out of his element, sitting on his tiny bottom with a puzzled expression on his face. “Really mom?” Joanna joked, adding a thought bubble to Crew’s face as he inspected the unfamiliar carrot. But as the little guy warmed up to the idea, his curiosity turned into pure joy. The next picture showed Crew looking intrigued, and by the end of the photo session, he was all smiles. “Carrots for the win!” Joanna exclaimed, proving once again that she’s a master at turning simple moments into magical memories.
The Next Easter Photoshoot: Bluebonnets, Here We Come!

Joanna didn’t stop at the carrots, though. She promised her followers that next year’s Easter photoshoot would feature Crew in a field of bluebonnets. And why not? After all, bluebonnets are as iconic to Texas as Crew Gaines is to the Gaines family. In true Joanna fashion, she ended her Easter celebration with a sweet message to her fans. “Happy Easter from the Farm!” she captioned a picture of her husband, Chip Gaines, and their two daughters, Ella Rose, 12, and Emmie Kay, 9. The couple, who also have two sons, Drake, 14, and Duke, 10, clearly know how to keep the family spirit alive and well.
