I can’t imagine stopping either. It’s like breathing—it’s just something I do without even thinking about it. Choosing between acting and directing? That’s not an option for me.”

“Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever felt overlooked—I’m too insecure for that,” Jodie admitted with a laugh. “I wear many hats in this business—actor, director, producer, writer—and each role brings its own challenges. As an actor, I’ve made far more movies and feel much more confident in that space. But as a director, I’m still exploring, still growing. It’s a different journey, and I’m okay with that.”
