According to a parent at Prince George's school, "George is really happy at school, and his nickname is P.G." Isn’t that adorable? The little prince is surrounded by friends and blends in effortlessly, with very little fuss about his royal status. Whether it’s William or Kate dropping him off, they always make it a point to be friendly. William, in particular, loves chatting with other parents and even works out with some of the moms at the Harbor Club after dropping George off. He’s such a social butterfly, always ready to strike up a conversation.
Playdates, Parties, and Cousins
It turns out that George enjoys more than just school; he's also into playdates and parties. He’s particularly close to his classmate Maud Windsor, who happens to be his cousin. That’s some royal bonding right there! The 5-year-old is almost done with his first year at Thomas’s Battersea, located in south London. The school, which costs a pretty penny at nearly $8,000 a term, is co-ed, unlike the schools his parents attended as kids. In September, Princess Charlotte, his 3-year-old sister, will join him at the school.

William, 36, Kate, 37, along with George and Charlotte, recently spent a fun day at the Burnham Horse Trials on Friday, April 19. While Prince Louis, the youngest child, wasn’t seen, the family seemed to be having a great time. “They are just enjoying being a family and having a well-earned break over the Easter,” said a source close to the royals. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about George’s nicknames. He’s even given himself one, according to a dog walker who interacted with the young prince. “Just to be friendly, I engaged in a bit of small talk and I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it,” the woman told The Sun. “To my astonishment, he said, ‘I’m called Archie’ with a big smile on his face … I don’t know why he calls himself Archie but kids often play with their names and I think it’s lovely.”
