“This was one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced in my career. There were moments where I was genuinely scared of failing, but I kept reminding myself why I started this journey in the first place. The Stand-In is a film I’m incredibly proud of,” Drew wrote in her caption. “I went all in—immersing myself so deeply into the characters that I barely spoke in my own voice. Drew described the film as “one of the most challenging projects I’ve tackled since Grey Gardens.” She explained that portraying these characters pushed her to explore multiple facets of their personalities, making the role even more demanding. “I had to embody not just two distinct characters but also the various layers within each of them,” she revealed.
