Let’s talk about Prince Harry for a moment. Sure, he’s one of the most recognizable men on the planet, but that doesn’t mean everyone knows exactly what he looks like. And as it turns out, even royalty isn’t immune to a little skepticism. Recently, a young student reminded us of this fact in the most adorable way possible.
On a crisp Tuesday, March 19, Prince Harry, the 34-year-old Duke of Sussex, found himself surrounded by enthusiastic young students at St. Vincent’s Catholic Primary School. The occasion? Planting a tree as part of his family’s cherished tradition. As the kids chanted his name in excitement, one little boy wasn’t entirely convinced that the man before him was, in fact, the real Prince Harry.
A Moment of Skepticism
Teaching assistant Philomena Frattura shared the delightful story of what happened next. “One of the kids tapped him and said, ‘When is Prince Harry coming?’” she recounted. Prince Harry, with his signature charm, replied, “But I’m Prince Harry.” The young skeptic wasn’t so easily swayed. “When is the real Prince Harry coming?” the boy pressed on.

Harry, ever the quick-witted royal, didn’t miss a beat. “I’m the real Harry. I’ve just had my hair cut for the occasion,” he quipped with a smile. It’s moments like these that remind us of his approachable and down-to-earth nature, even when faced with a little dose of skepticism.
A Heartwarming Resolution

Eventually, the young student, 4-year-old Emmanuel Osei, was persuaded that the royal visitor was indeed the genuine article. According to Diane Redmond, a learning mentor, the kids had certain expectations about what a prince should look like. “They think a prince should have a crown,” she explained. After proving his identity to everyone’s satisfaction, Harry went on to plant saplings in the school’s outdoor nature area, continuing the family tradition with a smile.
Harry’s Memorable Encounters with Students
Prince Harry, who is about to become a father, has had numerous memorable encounters with students during his various school visits. Back in April 2016, while filming a children’s TV show, the duke faced another curious question from a young boy. “Are you ever going to be king?” asked a 9-year-old named Tristan.
