During the March 14 episode of his podcast, Brian took a moment to honor his late friend, expressing heartfelt sentiments about Luke Perry. “Luke was one of a kind, man,” Brian shared, his voice tinged with emotion. “I’m still reeling from this, and I can’t believe I’m even talking about it like this. We all knew that eventually, we’d have to deal with losing people we care about—friends, castmates—but not like this. Not at 52. Not so suddenly.”
Just ten days after Luke’s passing on March 4, Brian shared his feelings. Luke was only 52 when he passed away after suffering a massive stroke just five days earlier. According to a statement from Luke’s representative, he was surrounded by loved ones, including his fiancée, Wendy Madison Bauer, and his two children, at the time of his passing. It’s a reminder of the fragility of life and how quickly things can change.

No matter where you saw him, no matter what he was going through, Luke was always Luke. He was a rock for all of us. You could count on him, and he always had your back.”

Brian revealed that the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast reunited to mourn Luke together, but it wasn’t easy. “We all came together, and there were so many mixed emotions,” Brian explained. “On one hand, it was amazing to see everyone after all these years. But on the other hand, it was such a heavy reason to be there. No one wanted to gather under these circumstances. It was bittersweet, to say the least.”

I guess I was holding onto that brotherly bond we had. I know he’s out there somewhere, watching over us. I can feel it. He’s definitely smiling down on us.”
