On Saturday, October 6, Ozzy had to undergo surgery for an infection on his hand, forcing him to postpone a few concerts. His rep posted a photo of the Black Sabbath icon's bandaged hand, explaining the situation in detail. "Ozzy's Saturday, October 6 show at @ShorelineAmphitheatre in Mountain View, CA has been postponed due to illness," the message read. "Our Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter is receiving treatment for an infection that required surgery on his hand this morning."
Continuing the update, Ozzy's team informed fans that he would be spending a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where doctors would closely monitor the infection. "The show is part of Ozzy’s North American 'NO MORE TOURS 2,' produced by @LiveNation, and is expected to resume on Tuesday, October 9 at @MattressFirmAmp in Chula Vista," the statement added. Fans can expect Ozzy to hit the stage again for the Hollywood Bowl on October 11 and the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on October 13.
