Brad Falchuk’s Quality Time with His Kids

At 49, Brad Falchuk has been making the most of his time with his two children, Brody and Isabella, whom he shares with his ex-wife Suzanne Falchuk. The pandemic has brought them all closer, as the family resides together in the home Brad shares with Gwyneth and her two children, Apple and Moses. This unique living arrangement, though cozy, has its challenges. As Gwyneth humorously noted in a Goop video titled "How Do You Find Intimacy in Uncertain Times?" on March 29, "It's pretty close quarters."

Adjusting to Life in Close Quarters

Life under the same roof has been an adjustment for everyone, especially the kids, who are feeling the strain of being cooped up indoors. "They can't go outside or see their friends, so they're feeling really pent in," Gwyneth explained. She also acknowledged the added tension that comes with stepparent dynamics. "There's quite a lot of stress that comes from trying to recalibrate to this new normal and new level of proximity," she admitted.

    Gwyneth’s Focus on Family Bonding

Despite the challenges, Gwyneth is determined to maintain her family's well-being and connection. She's been exploring ways to keep everyone sane while also strengthening her bond with Brad. "As a couple, it’s like, where do you go when you're all in the house with dogs, work, and working from home?" she mused. "It’s like, 'What are you supposed to do?'" Yet, they're finding ways to adapt and thrive together, embracing their "new normal" with grace.

Gwyneth's commitment to making the most of this time is evident in her Instagram post from March 22. She encouraged everyone to take the pandemic seriously and use the time for personal growth. "It's time for nesting, reading, cleaning out closets, doing something you've always wanted to do—write a book, learn an instrument or a language, or learn to code online," she advised. "It’s also a time for reconnecting on a deeper level with the people you love." And we couldn’t agree more!
