Family Planning on Pause for Now

In a recent chat with People, Chrissy revealed that another baby isn’t in the cards anytime soon. At 33, she’s feeling pretty clear about focusing on Miles right now. “I feel like I’d miss out on Miles if we added another baby to the mix,” she says candidly. “With Luna, it felt different because she was older, talking, and growing up. It seemed like the timing was right to bring another baby into the mix back then.”

Chrissy goes on to explain, “Miles is just so tiny right now, and I don’t want to miss a single moment with him. Of course, I want another child eventually, but definitely not anytime soon. We’re thinking about spacing things out a bit more this time around compared to how close Luna and Miles are.”

Busy Schedules, But Parenting Comes First

Let’s face it—this couple is juggling a lot. John, who’s 40, is keeping his music career alive and well while also shining as a judge on The Voice. Meanwhile, Chrissy’s got her hands full with TV gigs, a Pampers line, and even her own makeup line. Despite their packed schedules, they make sure parenting stays front and center. “When it comes to raising our kids, we’re definitely on the same page,” Chrissy shares. “Luna sometimes thinks she can play one of us against the other, but we’re not having it. It’s important that we’re both the ‘bad guy’ when it comes to discipline. No one wants to be the bad guy alone, so it works out better this way.”

Parenting Styles: Who’s the Fun One?

Chrissy admits that John has a more laid-back approach to parenting. “He’s definitely easier than me,” she jokes. “But sometimes I have to step in and say, ‘Oh, you’re having string cheese for dinner? Well, dinner’s in 20 minutes, so now you’re gonna be full.’”

And here’s the funny part: sometimes, Chrissy finds herself talking to John through their kids. “When you’re talking to the kids, you’re really talking to your husband,” she laughs. “You’re like, ‘Well, you shouldn’t have had that 20 minutes before dinner because Mommy is making fish sticks, but I guess you’re gonna be a little full now!’”
