When singer Marie Osmond had to skip her Wednesday, April 10, performance with her brother Donny Osmond in Las Vegas, she felt absolutely terrible about it. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Marie opened up about her decision to stay home and rest, explaining that severe allergies left her voiceless. She wanted her fans to know it wasn’t an easy choice but one she had to make for her health.
“On Wednesday, allergies hit me so hard that I lost my voice, and I couldn’t do the show! 😫” Marie, 59, revealed. “So many of our audiences travel from all over the world to see us perform at the Flamingo Vegas, so when I can’t be there for them, it truly breaks my heart! 💔 To everyone who came to the Wednesday show and only got to see Donny on stage, I know… #HeNeedsMe!!! 😉😜😘.”

Still Time to Catch the Osmonds in Vegas
Even though some fans missed out on seeing Marie perform at the Flamingo Resort that day, there’s still plenty of time to catch the sibling duo before their Las Vegas residency wraps up at the end of the year. It’s been an incredible run, and these final months promise to be just as special for fans.

Donny expressed his feelings about the upcoming end of their Vegas residency in an Instagram post on Thursday, March 21. “It’s a strange feeling knowing that the end is on the horizon,” he shared. “Last night after the show, I couldn’t help but think about all the things I’m going to miss once it’s over. Performing on stage with my extremely talented sister every night has been unforgettable. She’s the best partner anyone could ask for.”
Marie Reflects on Their Time Together
Marie echoed Donny’s sentiments and took a moment to thank their loyal fans on her official Instagram page. “Thank you for coming to our shows, some of you returning many times over,” she wrote. “None of this would have been possible without you. How much do I appreciate you? You’ve made all the difference. You’ve shaped who we are.”
“The other night I turned to Donny as we got ready for the opening of the show and said: ‘Hey D, let’s just have fun with every show as we count down to the last one … let’s enjoy every moment,’" she continued. "Saying goodbye is never easy, but as Donny said, ‘It’s the end of The Donny & Marie Show, it’s not the end of Donny and Marie.’”
