The Reason Behind the Postponement
On March 30, Mick’s bandmates issued a statement explaining the situation. “Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment,” they wrote. “We apologize for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows, but we want to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly.” This was understandably a huge disappointment for fans, but everyone was quick to rally behind Mick, wishing him a speedy recovery.

It turns out that Mick underwent the procedure to insert a stent to help keep at least one of his arteries open. Just hours after the band announced the tour postponement, Mick took to Twitter to personally address his fans. “I really hate letting you down like this,” he wrote. “I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour, but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can.” Fans were touched by his heartfelt message and reassured him that his health was the top priority.

Support Pouring In
The news of Mick's surgery was certainly a shock, but it also brought out the best in his fans. They rallied around him, sending messages of love and support. “We love you so much, Mick,” one fan wrote. “You need to have a good rest. Nothing is more important than your health. I’m looking forward to seeing you again someday. Don’t worry about us and take good care of yourself.” Another fan added, “Here’s to a speedy recovery! There’s no other frontman in the world like you.” It’s clear that Mick has a legion of devoted fans who care deeply about him.
Bandmates Showing Their Support
Following the announcement, Mick’s bandmates Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood also took to social media to express their support.
