It’s been a while since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a proper date night. So, on Saturday, March 2, the couple decided to make their way to London’s Aldwych Theatre to catch a performance of Tina Turner’s new show, Tina: The Musical. Let’s just say, it was the perfect evening to reconnect and have some fun.
Private Evening Out
As the official Twitter account for Tina: The Musical shared on March 2, "We were thrilled and honored to welcome The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the show last night." But here’s the kicker—this visit wasn’t announced beforehand. Royal correspondent Omid Scobie later revealed that the outing was both private and unexpected, adding that Harry and Meghan “thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”

Meghan’s Love for the Arts
As a former actress on Suits, Meghan Markle, 37, has always had a deep appreciation for the performing arts. Even though she gave up her acting career to become Prince Harry’s wife, her passion for theater hasn’t faded. In fact, royal historian Robert Lacey believes that Meghan’s role as a patron of The National Theatre in London could reignite her love for the stage.
“If Meghan ever feels like she’s missing the thrill of acting, this connection will bring her back to the world of show business in a very creative way,” Lacey explained. He went on to say, “It’s perfectly tailored for her, and I can imagine her diving headfirst into various productions or even directing something. Who knows? One day, she might even perform at The National Theatre herself. It’s not out of the question.”

Motherhood and New Beginnings
However, with Meghan’s due date rapidly approaching, she might need to focus on settling into her new role as a mom before diving back into the world of acting. Back in November 2017, during her first official interview with Harry after their engagement announcement, Meghan shared that she had no regrets about stepping away from her acting career to embrace her royal duties.
“Transitioning out of my career and into this new chapter has been incredibly exciting,” Meghan said. “When you’re given a voice that people listen to, it comes with great responsibility. I see this as a new phase in my life. I spent seven wonderful years on Suits, and we were fortunate to have that kind of longevity. I feel like I’ve checked that box, and I’m incredibly proud of the work I’ve done there.”
