"We’re apart a lot," she admitted of her husband, Valeri Bure. "Because I travel a lot, that’s the secret! Because, you know, being away from each other makes the heart grow fonder." Sounds like a recipe for romance, doesn’t it? Candace also shared that she doesn’t have all the answers but is more than happy to share what works for her and Valeri. Beyond her work and her marriage, Candace is also a proud mom to three kids—Natasha, 20, Lev, 18, and Maksim, 16. For her, maintaining a strong bond with her children is just as important as nurturing her relationship with Valeri. "It’s important to let them know that you’re there for them no matter what," Candace shared with People. "As a mom, I’m always going to have an opinion, but not in a judgmental way, if that makes sense. I’m going to give my best advice as a mother, or my husband as a father. But we want to be open enough that they don’t feel scared to be able to talk to us." Clearly, her parenting philosophy is working wonders because Candace looks happier and more radiant than ever!
