This event was held to celebrate the launch of the Zakarian Pro For Home Non-Stick Cast Iron Cookware collection, which is set to hit QVC shelves on October 28. The gathering took place at his renowned Midtown NYC restaurant, The Lambs Club. During the interview, Geoffrey couldn’t stop gushing about the person he admires most in the culinary universe.

So, why does Geoffrey hold Alton Brown in such high regard? Well, Geoffrey explained it beautifully. "It’s got to be the people who have truly stood the test of time—and not just survived, but thrived in a positive way. Alton Brown is just brilliant. His creativity knows no bounds, and he’s endlessly fascinating. Alton is truly the king of the food world. He’s not only smart but also incredibly fun to be around," Geoffrey shared enthusiastically. He went on to describe the camaraderie they share when working together on shows like Iron Chef. "We’re all out and about in LA, and Alton just lights up the room wherever he goes," Geoffrey added with a big smile.

He spoke glowingly about his co-stars, including Jeff Mauro, Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, and Marcella Valladolid. "Every time I tell my wife I’m heading to the set, she says, 'You’re always so happy!' And it’s true! It feels like going to summer camp for three days with your best friends. We’re constantly hanging out and playing pranks on each other.
