Accompanied by her beloved mom, Doria Ragland, and her handsome hubby, Prince Harry, Meghan spoke with genuine warmth about the process of creating the cookbook. She described it as a “tremendous labor of love,” and you could feel the passion in her voice. Meghan shared how moving to London had been a transformative experience for her, and how she was immediately embraced by the kitchen community. “Your warmth and kindness, and also to be able to be in this city and to see in this one small room how multicultural it was,” she said, speaking from the heart and without notes, as captured by ITV’s Chris Ship.
She went on to express her pride in living in such a diverse city. “On a personal level, I feel so proud to live in this city that can have so much diversity. There’s 12 countries represented in this one group of women. It’s pretty outstanding,” Meghan continued, her voice filled with admiration for the women involved in the project.
